Nepal Earthquake ? Second Anniversary

On 25 April and May 12, 2015, the lives of hundreds of thousands of people in Nepal were transformed by two earthquakes. A total of 5.6 million people were affected; 8,856 people were killed and more than 800,000 houses were damaged or destroyed. Two years later, the Red Cross has helped thousands of people to recover and rebuild their lives. Staff and volunteers of the Nepal Red Cross working in the 14 worst-affected districts have been at the forefront of recovery efforts.
