Syria: Complex emergency

ENG

Due to its respected neutral and impartial approach, and through its network of volunteers, relief items are delivered on behalf of the society’s many partners, including the ICRC, IFRC, partner National Societies, UN agencies, and other humanitarian actors. More than 60 per cent of all UN relief in Syria is delivered by SARC’s network of volunteers and logistical systems.

More than 4.5 million people are assisted on a monthly basis. SARC is particularly effective at ensuring access to difficult to reach locations through joint SARC/ICRC/UN convoys.
