Red Cross aid reaches shattered communities in Palu and Donggala

ENG

Description: One week after a series of earthquakes and a tsunami struck the Indonesian province of Central Sulawesi, killing at least 1,581 people and cutting off shattered communities, Indonesian Red Cross teams are bringing food, clean water, medical treatment and comfort to the traumatised survivors. Access is still a major challenge in the operation, but relief supplies are now arriving by air, ship, and are being carried on foot to previously inaccessible areas.
