Six months after Typhoon Haiyan

ENG

Six months after Typhoon Haiyan struck central Philippines on November 8th, 2013, the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement has provided emergency relief to over one million survivors. Over 1.1 million homes were damaged or destroyed and as part of its 3 year recovery plan, the Red Cross will be helping families to build back stronger homes that are more resistant to future storms. The Red Cross is also running a ‘cash-for-work' debris clearance programme that boosts the incomes of local people.
